How it works
Every morning we collect UK tech job ads from startup job boards and Reed. For this tool we use the ones that state a yearly salary, first listed in the last 90 days and still open. Day rates and contract roles are left out. Where an ad gives a range, we use the middle of it. The same ad posted twice counts once, and the top and bottom 2% of salaries for each role are set aside as outliers.
We need at least 10 ads to compare. If your exact level and location have fewer, we compare with every level at your location, then with the whole UK, and say so next to the result.
